Prefab Highrise

Jul-19-10 Felipe Campolina's Ecobitat is the next step in mobile homes. Each unit, measuring only 17 square meters, can be transported by truck, then slotted into a metal frame to create a multiple story highrise.

Once in place, the units can be expanded to 32 square meters that contain a bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and living space, that is covered with plants and roofed with solar panels.

The economy-size condos are attached to a tower that contains a stairway and an elevator.
