Prizm Music Player Learns Your Musical Tastes

Oct-19-14 The Prizm steaming music player will learn the user's musical tastes, creating a personalized playlist each time it streams music from the cloud.

The Prizm can connect to any powered speakers and links directly to the user's streaming music accounts and free streaming services via the home WiFi—no smartphone connection is required. Listeners can teach the device their musical tastes by pressing the "Like" or "Dismiss" buttons on the side of the unit. The Prizm will not only learn what music the user likes, but also which kind is preferred during different times of the day.

The Prizm can also identify the people in the room (using their smartphones or electronic wearables and Bluetooth) and play their musical preferences.
