ProGo Scooter is Powered by Propane

ProGo Scooter is Powered by Propane
Aug-07-14
The propane-powered ProGo scooter hopes to spur the popularity of small motor scooters with its green-friendly, gasoline-free design.

The scooter, which has already surpassed its funding goal on Kickstarter, is able to operate on a single container of propane just like the ones used to fuel camp stoves. The propane container attaches to the rear of the scooter, where it powers the 25-cc four-stroke engine to provide a range of 30 to 40 miles at speeds up to 20 mph. The ProGo is also made to be easily transportable, with a folding steel frame, and simple to start, with no choke or priming.

According to the developers, the ProGo has been approved by the EPA and CARB (California Air Resources Board) for riding even in areas off-limits to traditional gas scooters.
