Puppy Tracker Helps Locate Lost Pets

Jan-20-14 Following up on their successful Guardian child-tracking device, BeLuvv has released the Puppy—a similar tracking device designed for pets.

Equipped with the same tracking technology as the Guardian, Puppy uses Bluetooth Smart to communicate with the companion app and alert the pet owner to the animal’s last known position. Other people can be authorized to be in the Puppy safety network, tracking the dog and helping with the search, and a lost signal will prompt a search mode, which allows other Puppy users to anonymously participate in the search.

Puppy also features a proximity alert setting, and will send a notification to the owner if the dog wanders beyond a specified ‘safety range.’
