Rachio Smart Sprinkler Reduces Water Use

Rachio Smart Sprinkler Reduces Water Use
May-21-15
Save water and money with the Wi-Fi sprinkler from Rachio, which the developers claim could cut water use by up to 30 percent.

Meant to replace traditional sprinkler controls, the smart sprinkler connects to the internet, which allows it monitor the weather as well as be controlled manually by a smartphone. If the system detects recent or incoming rain, it will adjust the watering schedule accordingly. Other water-saving features include intermittent watering, which allows the water to be absorbed more efficiently, and different watering times depending upon the season.
