RMDLO Colander Folds to Fit in a Drawer

RMDLO Colander Folds to Fit in a Drawer
Jun-03-14
The RMDLO colander can fold to just a fraction of its size, saving valuable space in small kitchens and making it easier to cook pasta while camping.

Inspired by origami and geometry, the RMDLO colander is made up of several sheets of stainless steel that can be folded on top of one another with a simple gesture. When folded, the colander measures only 1.6 cm thick, which is small enough to fit in a standard cutlery drawer. Or you can follow the developers' advice and hang it on the wall as an artistic statement.

The colander's unique shape also makes it easier to work with, as it can be squeezed to a narrow form that is much more convenient for pouring.
