The robot, which looks strikingly similar to a auto manufacturing robot, is a radiotherapy machine that can work with such precision that it can move around while the patient breathes.The treatment is claimed to be so accurate that it is now possible to be able to treat tumours that were previously thought to be inoperable. Because the treatment is not invasive, complications that are normally associated with surgery are eliminated, as is the need for a long recovery time.
