RoChair Rowing Wheelchair

RoChair Rowing Wheelchair
Oct-12-11
The RoChair wheelchair is designed to be propelled by the user pushing and pulling on a center mounted lever.

Designed by ROTA Mobility, the RoChair offers a better mechanical advantage while also reducing the chances of repetitive strain injuries. It is steered by turning the center propulsion lever to the left or right, and brake levers mounted on the handlebar control the dual disc brakes. There are eight gears available, and the chair can still be maneuvered by the traditional push rims if required.

The RoChair is also easier to get into, since users don't have to heft themselves over a wheel.
