Samsung AR Keyboard Projected onto Fingers

Samsung AR Keyboard Projected onto Fingers

Samsung has filed a patent for a technology that would project a keyboard onto the user’s hands, giving smart glasses wearers a new way to interact with their devices.

Currently, smart glasses users communicate with their glasses via voice recognition, which can be difficult in loud places (or those where you are expected to be silent). The patent filed by Samsung, most likely to be used with their Galaxy Glass, projects an image of the keyboard onto the user’s fingers, which they can then tap with a thumb.

While the technology may not make it to the final version of Samsung’s Galaxy Glass, the patent demonstrated that Samsung is investigating alternative methods of interacting with devices.
