Sea-Can Fire-Powered Fire Fighting System

Sea-Can Fire-Powered Fire Fighting System
May-23-16
Created by the inspiring Eddie Paul, the Sea-Can self-contained fire control system is powered by the heat of the fire.

The Sea-Can resembles a shipping container, and is designed to be placed in fire-prone areas, or even dropped in the path of fire. The container is equipped with side doors that will automatically drop when the temperature reaches 200°F. Water-filled copper boiling tubing running through the doors will begin to boil from the heat of the fire, powering Eddie Paul’s patented CEM steam pumps, which in turn will force fire retardant foam from the roof-mounted nozzles.

The system will continue to operate until it runs out of foam or the fire’s heat dies down, with no human intervention required.
