Silent Partner Silences Snoring with Noise Cancelling

Silent Partner Silences Snoring with Noise Cancelling
Nov-21-15
Hailed as the first smartpatch to control snoring, the Silent Partner uses active noise cancelling to lessen the sound of snoring.

The Silent Partner flexes to fit around the snorer’s nose, where it detects the frequency and amplitude of the snoring sound wave and broadcasts an inverse sound wave, which cancels out both sounds. According to the developers, the noise reduction is effective as close as 8 inches to the snorer.
