SL-Tainer Self-Lifting Shipping Container

SL-Tainer Self-Lifting Shipping Container
Jun-26-15
The SL-Tainer shipping container features expandable legs that allow it be removed—or loaded—without a crane, saving money and opening the door to new delivery locations.

The SL-Tainer is equipped with four hydraulic jacks—one at each corner—that can lift the fully-loaded container up to 5.2 feet. This offers enough clearance for a flatbed trailer to slip underneath, or out from under, the container without requiring a crane. The jacks are also independently adjustable, which makes it easy to level the container once in place.

Besides saving money by eliminating the need for special equipment, the SL-Tainer could also be particularly attractive to people looking to use shipping containers as temporary offices, living spaces or event centers.
