Stop the spread of beer pong-borne disease with the Slip Cup, a specially tailored plastic liner that sits inside the plastic cup to catch the ball—and its germy cargo.
Beer pong, where you bounce a ball in a cup of beer and call on an opposing team member to drink it, is a traditional college game. But the ping pong balls used in the game can carry a swarm of bacteria—straight into the beer.
To preserve the spirit of the game as well as the health of the players, the Slip Cup is designed to sit inside the standard cups used in beer pong, just over the cup’s serving of beer. Besides keeping the ball and beer from ever making contact, the Slip Cup adds a few other helpful features, such as a tab that keeps the ball from bouncing out, a weighted bottom that helps keep the cups from tipping over, and numbers etched in the bottom of each cup that open the door to new versions of beer pong.
