Smart Tennis Sensor Calls the Shots

Smart Tennis Sensor Calls the Shots
Aug-25-14
The new Smart Tennis Sensor from Sony takes the place of a coach by tracking shot data and sending it the user's smartphone in real-time.

The Smart Tennis Sensor fits into the handle of the racket, and Sony has partnered with Wilson to offer the compatible rackets. Once in place, the sensor system will recognize and keep track of a wide range of data, including ball speed, swing speed, shot count and ball impact shot, and shot types. The data is sent to a smartphone via Bluetooth, and can also be stored in the device itself for viewing later if no smartphone is available.
