The solar powered Vaccine Refrigerator is able to keep medicines at their proper temperatures, even when electrical power is not available.

Developed by True Energy, the refrigerator is meant for use in harsh and hard to reach environments. It can be powered by a grid or run on solar energy, and is able to maintain a reliable temperature for up to 10 days. The Vaccine Refrigerator also uses a stabilizing technology which allows it to sense the outside temperature and adjust its own temperature appropriately.
