SolarWindow's Flexible, Energy-Generating Glass

SolarWindow's Flexible, Energy-Generating Glass
Jan-19-17
SolarWindows is developing an ultra-thin, bendable glass that can be installed on existing windows to transform buildings into power generators.

The flexible glass was created by applying SolarWindow’s liquid Electricity Generating Coating to Corning Willow Glass, and then laminating the material in a method similar to the procedures used by commercial glass manufacturers. The resulting sheet, a glass ‘veneer,’ is as thin as a business card and able to flex without damage, while also generating electricity.
