Suncayr Marker Ink Changes Color So You Won't

Suncayr Marker Ink Changes Color So You Won't
Oct-19-14
The Suncayr marker ink will change color when exposed to UV rays, making it easier to know when it's time to apply more sunscreen.

Shortlisted for the James Dyson Award, the Suncayr ink can be drawn directly on the skin (in comparison to stickers or wristbands that can fall off), after which the sunscreen is applied on top. This feature also allows the users to write or draw whatever they want, which could encourage children to monitor their sun exposure. The reversible ink from the Suncayr marker will remain its original color while the sunscreen is still offering protection, and then change to a different color when it is time to apply more. Once the sunscreen has been reapplied, the ink will change back to the first color.
