The fourth iteration of Iran's Surena robot is capable of mimicking a person's pose, grasping a water bottle, and writing its name on a whiteboard.
Four years in the making, the robot can track objects accurately and its new hands allow it to manipulate a wide variety of objects, from delicate motions to operating power tools.
Custom sensors on the bottom of its feet help it walk over uneven surfaces and its walking speed has increased to 0.7 kilometers per hour from 0.3 km/h in previous generations.
