Tack Endovascular System Patches Torn Vessels

Tack Endovascular System Patches Torn Vessels
Apr-24-19
The Tack Endovascular System from Intact Vascular repairs tears created during angioplasties with a series of tiny, gently-pushing stents.

Balloon angioplasty is an effective way of treating vascular diseases, but the treatment can also cause tearing in the walls of the vessels. As an alternative to the typical method of repairing the tears with several over-large stents, Intact Vascular’s Tack System relies on a series of tiny stents that can be placed over the tears in a single procedure. The Tack stents are very small, reducing potential side effects, and can be used across a wide range of vessel diameters.
