Tag Tag Solves a Common Tea-Drinking Problem

Oct-25-14 Another example of how the simplest ideas are sometimes the best, the Tag Tag sticks to the side of a tea cup to keep the teabag from falling into the cup.

The Tag Tag is coated with a water-activated adhesive, similar to the adhesive used on postage stamps, and takes the place of the standard teabag tag. The tag can be attached to the outer edge of the cup simply by pressing it to the water droplets that are naturally created when the hot water is poured into the cup. This keeps the teabag from falling into the cup and makes it much easier to retrieve.

The Tag Tag concept was a Red Dot award winner, and the design team is now in the process of applying for patent.
