Talon Amphibious Drone Performs Water Landings

Talon Amphibious Drone Performs Water Landings
Oct-21-18
The Amphibious drone from Talon can land on dry land or water—taking some of the risk out of autonomous drone mapping.

The Talon Amphibious drone is completely waterproof, and can be launched from onshore or a boat, whereupon it will remain aloft for up to two hours on a single charge. The drone can fly under either autonomous or remote control, using its downward-facing camera to capture video or images of the landscape in real-time. The Talon drone can also land either on the ground or the water at the end of its route, offering a safe new way to come down to earth.
