The self-contained Tech-Air personal airbag system from Alpinestars fits into a vest and can be used with any type of motorcycle—with no extra set-up time required. The airbag system is fitted within a detachable vest that can be worn with two different jackets, and (unlike conventional motorcycle airbag systems) does not require sensors on the bike in order to function. When the unit senses an impact, it will inflate to protect the rider's back, chest and kidneys—offering much more protection during a crash.
