Telehuman Holographic Projector

Telehuman Holographic Projector
May-08-12
The 3D Telehuman projector brings holographic communications a step closer to reality.

Using Kinect sensors and 3D camera equipment, the team of researchers from Queen's University captured 3D images of individuals and projected them within an acrylic cylinder fitted with a convex mirror. The projection allows for a more lifelike display, conveying body language and a full view of each participant.

Years ago, I worked on 3D imaging using laser technology developed here in silicon valley. The applications were vast, deep and in some cases mind boggling. For example, air traffic controllers could see aircraft paths in spacial relationships, product designers can see their products from many sides, video producers can to nuts with effects to entertain. If I can be of help, please let me know.
