Travelmate Robotic Suitcase Carries Itself

Travelmate Robotic Suitcase Carries Itself
Sep-17-17
The Travelmate autonomous robotic suitcase can maneuver through crowds at seven miles an hour.

The Travelmate communicates with a paired smartphone to trail its owner through terminals and stations, lightening the load on the traveler. It can travel in both a horizontal or vertical position—or even carry a load stacked on top—and can be recharged in any standard outlet. The Travelmate is also equipped with the team’s Follow Me system, which uses AI and an embedded sensors to help the case avoid obstacles and people, and omnidirectional wheels for multi-directional movement.
