Twenty Products Cut Water to Reduce Waste

Twenty Products Cut Water to Reduce Waste
Nov-19-18
Winner of the 2018 Global Grad Show, the Twenty product selection reduces resource use by leaving out the water.

The Twenty collection of household products was developed by student Mirjam de Bruijn from Design Academy Eindhoven when she realized that most household cleaning products are about 80 percent water. Since transporting water (and the plastic needed to contain it) increases weight and therefore emissions, de Bruijn developed a range of dehydrated household products in capsule form that can be rehydrated on site, by the consumer.

Mirjam de Bruijn was declared the winner of the Global Grad Show for 2018 for her Twenty product line.
