Ubi Camera Uses Fingers as Viewfinder

Ubi Camera Uses Fingers as Viewfinder
Mar-31-12
A team in Japan have created the prototype Ubi Camera, which uses the photographer's fingers to set the frame.

Developed by a group at Japan's Institute of Advanced Media Arts and Sciences, the camera attaches to the index finger, snapping an image when the shutter is pressed by the thumb. The zoom can be accessed through the integrated infrared range finder, which is able to estimate the distance between the photographer's face and hands.
