Valedo System Strengthens the Back With Video Games

The Valedo system, from the Swiss firm Hocoma, consists of a pair of sensors that attach to specific points on the back using the included tape. The sensors are equipped with a combination 3D gyroscope, accelerometer and magnetometer that track the movements of the back during various targeted exercises. The collected data is sent in real-time to a compatible Apple device via low-energy Bluetooth, which enables the user to follow along with specific exercises in the guise of a video game.
