Wallet-Sized Nova Flash for iPhone

Sep-10-13 Smartphone cameras are improving with each new generation, but the flash remains woefully inadequate—a problem the Nova was designed to address.

The Nova is a hand-held flash, portable flash that connects to iPhones via Bluetooth with a range of about 20 feet. Since it is not attached to the camera, it can be held at different angles or distances, and the 40 points of light behind a diffusion panel will reduce harsh shadows. The flash features different light settings, including warm, soft and brilliant, and an included custom mode allows photographers to blend the settings to create a specific result.

The Nova has currently surpassed its funding goal on Kickstarter.
