Wearable Chairless Chair Lets You Sit Anywhere

Wearable Chairless Chair Lets You Sit Anywhere
Aug-24-14
The Chairless Chair attaches to the user like a pair of pants to create a wearable chair that can be worn all the time.

An "ergonomic leg device" developed for use in industrial settings, The Chairless Chair promises to increase the users' health, comfort and productivity by allowing workers to take the weight off their legs and back at any time. Made of carbon fiber and aluminum, the device weighs less than five pounds and is unobtrusive enough to be worn while walking or running. It can be set into a variety of positions and then secured with a battery-operated lock, which enables the user to rest their weight without the device ever touching the floor.

The Chairless Chair was born from its co-founder's experience working in a UK packing company. According to Keith Gunura, co-founder and CEO of the startup noonee-“Standing for hours on end causes a lot of distress on the lower limbs, but most workers get very few breaks and chairs are rarely provided because they take up too much space. So I thought that the best idea was to strap an unobtrusive chair directly to myself.”

Super simple concept. Should popularize and make it affordable to common workmen.
This, if effective as claimed, should be encouraged by NGOs and Governments.

I think your product is very inovative and should attain a good market if the price is right and to have the right price I think you should consider China. China is still cheap in labour production and have the capability in production high quality products.
I am a Singaporean now having my production facility in China. I can assist if you are comfortable with my end.
More to say, China have a huge market and you could hit 2 birds with one stone. Production and direct sales to China and other region. To be frank, I have high interest in your product and look forward to discuss further with you.
Best regards

Thank you very much for your comments! We are giving our best to improve the ergonomics of people working in the industrial environment. At the moment we are in product development and testing stage and are not yet selling the Chairless Chair. However, we will keep you updated on our progress!
@ Raffi Alidina: May I ask which company are you working for?
Many thanks for your support!
Cheers!

Thanks for your mail.
I have a suggest and hope you could consider. Instead of using Carbon Fibre and Alliminium why not use Plastic which lower the cost and weight.
I persume that those that need one are mostly not rich but workers. Do you know that there is a huge market for your Invention in Mainland China. If you have been to China and have travel by train especially during Festive Season, you will find that it is fully pack and people have to stand all the way home. Sometime they have to stand for more than 10 hrs. It would be great if they have something like what you have invented. The potential is there in China.
This people are not rich so the price have to be right.
I really look forward and honour to be your cooperating partner in mainland china for your production and sales in China too.
Looking forward to hearing from you at your earliest.
Richard
