WelWalk WW-2000 Helps Patients Learn to Walk Again
Dec-02-19
Toyota’s updated WelWalk WW-2000 offers improved rehabilitation support for patients suffering from lower-limb paralysis.

An evolution of the company’s previous WW-1000, the WelWalk WW-2000 is designed to help individuals with lower-limb paralysis learn to walk again. The system features a pair of robotic exoskeletons worn on the legs, which offer support as well as joint-bending assist as the patient walks on a treadmill. The new design features some improvements over the earlier model, including games, real-time assistance settings, and the ability to identify irregular gait and track progression.
