Wrist-Worn Diabetes Monitoring Tool

Wrist-Worn Diabetes Monitoring Tool
Jun-24-17
Researchers have developed a diabetes monitoring device that can be worn by the patient for up to a week.

The device, from a team at the University of Texas at Dallas, is worn on the wrist, where its gel-equipped biosensor analyzes sweat on the skin to measure glucose content. The team hopes the sensor could help patients monitor their health more efficiently, perhaps one day transmitting the data to a paired smartphone app.
