Increasing Competitiveness Using Open innovation

At the Discovery annual IT Conference 2013 held at Pretoria, Stefan Lindegaard, the author of Open Innovation Revolution, said that life was not easy for innovators and intrapreneurs. They have to frequently fight against those dedicated to maintaining the status quo. The innovators are typically dedicated and driven to succeed and push their ideas in the face of opposition. Companies that adopt a philosophy of Open Innovation and welcome new ideas from both within and outside the enterprise are likely to be able to innovate faster. They should focus on both sharing and obtaining ideas.
