Device for exhausting combustion gases e.g. carbon dioxide, in motor vehicle, has reduction converter system arranged in exhaust gas stream of combustion plant and provided with electrically polar cry

The device has a reduction converter system arranged in an exhaust gas stream of a combustion plant, where the reduction converter system is provided with electrically polar crystals i.e. pyro, ferrous or piezoelectric crystal. The reduction converter system is provided with a container and a supply for water or gaseous hydrogen. The reduction converter system is equipped with a supply for cooling the crystals. The reduction converter system controls emission of a classical exhaust gas catalytic converter. The pyro, ferrous or piezoelectric crystal is selected form a group consisting of lithium niobate, calcium carbonate, silica and turmalin.
