Suture Anchor System

The invention relates to a suture anchor system for fixing sutures to bone, having a screw, an adjacent anchor, a cannulation in the anchor, and a thread, wherein the anchor comprises two opposite indentations at which the cannulation terminates at each end. In order to provide a suture anchor system wherein the thread can easily be inserted into the cannulation, the anchor (3) comprises a slit (10) on the cannulation (6) extending parallel to the cannulation (6) and inclined relative to the end surface (4) of the anchor (3) at an acute angle (a), wherein the slit (10) opens into the cannulation (6) in the longitudinal direction.
