720° analogue dial - invertible loop dial face

One time auction only - ends April 15, 2014. Worldwide licensing agreement or patent ownership valid until 2021.

Ownership of the world's first annular 720° dial. It is especially relevant for the clock industry, where timepieces could be endowed with the ability to mechanically change their face. Applications could exist outside clock industry. It is the perfect blend of aesthetics and mechanical ingenuity.
The dial undergoes a constant metamorphosis, using a system of pinions, racks and a clever caterpillar-wheel-like invertible surface, which is why I have named it the "Butterfly dial."
Various designs could have a either transparent centre to showcase the mechanical workings or instead have an illustrated dial of wide radius to the centre that inverts too. It is even possible in large versions of the assembly to go beyond 720° and have a long cycle of dials for each day of the week. But perhaps the most brilliant embodiment would be a more aesthetic and pragmatic way to display to display 24 hour time.
