Bone Examination System
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily position lower limbs in a bone examination system for executing an examination based on the deformation of bones by adding loads to the bones of the lower limbs. ; SOLUTION: A lower limb L of a subject P is mounted on a proximal supporting block 26 disposed on a rotary base 24 and a distal supporting block 28. The proximal supporting block supports the fibular head and the distal supporting block supports the lateral condyle or medial condyle in the tibial distal end. The rotary base is rotatably supported around the axis of rotation located near the knee of the subject relative to a main base 22, and is moved upward/downward by an up/down moving mechanism 30 disposed around the ankle. The rotary base 24 is rotated by the up/down moving mechanism with the lower limb mounted on the rotary base, so that the lower limb is horizontally positioned. ; COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
