Marketing Accessibility |

We find ourselves in a situation similar to other civil rights movement. The benefits of joining our cause are as practical as they are idealistic.
Many more people have disabilities than many people might realize. Estimates range from 20% to 30%.
When efforts to increase accessibility succeed the general public wins as well as people with disabilities.
Objective:
Generate positive and persuasive ways to interest more people in the cause of accessibility.
Describe the cause in ways that resonate with more people.
Generate excitement about the benefits of improving accessibility. For example, people on bikes and people pushing baby strollers love sidewalk curb cuts.
Make the urgency of accessibility a priority based on the negative threat of litigation and the positive potential of increased success.
Target:
All companies from P&G to the corner coffee shop
All organizations from places of worship to country clubs
All branches of government from IRS to the Board of Elections
