Stress at Work |
Especially in today's high-pressured cities, there is hardly a soul at work that has not experienced some form of stress. Work hours may be long and unpredictable; work itself may be intense. Bosses may make too many demands; coworkers may make too many complaints. All of this is exacerbated if, as is too often the case, one does not truly enjoy the work that he or she does.
How can we reduce stress in the workplace? What steps can individuals take to keep themselves healthier, and what programs can workplaces institute to prevent and mitigate stress overall?
