To speed up the decomposition of sewage either in large sewage treatment plants or in home septic plants and economically capture Methane gas from sewage plants. Reducing the time required for sewage decomposition would enable more efficient disposal of human sewage and the capture of methane gas would provide an alternate source of energy and reduce greenhouse gasses. One idea is to use water jets to physically break down human fecal, tissue paper and food particles upon entry into the treatment plant so that the time line for decomposition is reduced. Capture of methane gas could provide fuel for the system.
