the vultures which were in abundance, are dwindling by number, their extinction rate has soared hundred times faster than ever before, the old and long trees along irrigation canal of sukkur barrage ,are home to these specie, are being axed down by local at large, resultantly vultures are vanishing from the area owing to loss of their tree habitat, as office bearer of ngo i have brought this issue to the notice of community leader, concerned government agencies but no one is paying heed to this critical problem, they do not feel how vultures are important for maintaining our biosphere, they hate vultures because they scavenge the carcasses of animals, but they do not know if there were no vultures then .................
