Alternative Energy is Here, but Communities Aren't Ready for It.

The main problem with the alternative energy market is that is was not able to involve the public properly. It should realize once and for all that the public is NOT interested in green, environment, climate change, etc. On the other hand, studies have shown that the main purpose for the public to buy a Prius is because of the positive social impact it brings. In my view, this should have been enough of a hint for any other industry on the proper path to follow. But apparently we in the renewable industry sector failed Marketing 101.

The communities are ready to embrace whatever source of energy if available. The cheaper, the better. But to be cheaper it must be bought by many. Where are those "many" persons to buy all together and at once, in order to lower the alternative energy source's price? they are stopped in a way or other by the moguls of the industries. Usage of new energy sources is discouraged and obstructed on planet level. It is not mass ignorance. It is the common will of the ones which dictate the price for your bread.

I believe that communities are fully aware of alternate energy sources. The problem is that we as a society have become lazy as a whole and want everything done for us. This leads to a lack of skilled workforce to implement these new energies. Everywhere I go, I see people constantly playing internet games and cell phone games which take away energies that could be used for creative thought and old fashioned "hard work". Everybody is so tired because they think they've worked so hard when in all reality, their brain has been over stimulated with mindless garbage. This is the real problem and if we can gather attention by using the same tactics, maybe people will start to realize that this IS a real problem.

May be the communities people are unable to understand how it is going to work or whats benefit they will receive by using alternative Energy .
