Housing Integration

Part of the problem with prejudice is that people simply do not know, associate with, befriend, etc., those from other sociocultural/socioeconomic backgrounds. In addition to allowing families to escape the problems of traditional "low-income" neighborhoods, integrated housing units, i.e., individual apartment buildings with some high-income occupants and some units reserved for those receiving public assistance, allow a diversity of families to get to know and like one another.
