IMB Campaign

The Tahirih Justice Center runs the Campaign to Prevent Abuse and Exploitation through the International Marriage Broker (IMB) Industry, which aims to offer protective services to victims of exploitation and advocates holding brokers accountable. Tahirih was instrumental in the passage of the 2005 International Marriage Broker Regulation Act and has since lobbied for a strengthening of the law and enhanced guidance mechanisms for foreign brides.
