Here's a novel idea: Decrease hunger through art. Increase art appreciation through those concerned about hunger. The Bread Art Project allows users to "create art" - essentially upload drawings, etc. to the web, where each image is placed on a virtual slice of toast. (It's prettier than it sounds.) By partnering with Feeding America, the Grain Foods Foundation, which runs Bread Art, donated $25,000 in early 2009 to help fight hunger.
