The basic principle of electricity from citrus fruits, only you do not detach fruit from tree. You wire up all fruits with corrosion proof leads that don't kill the fruit. Then you bio engineer the strongest strains of certain trees to produce a higher yield. Plant fields,...you can calculate the output of the most acidic tree ,I looked up the average yield of a detached lemon and it was like 1.5 volts, so multiply by average fruit yield per tree, then multiply by average number of trees per field.

Sounds like a battery to me. Batteries work when acid corrodes the metal connections (anode and cathode). Will you plan generate electricity? Yes, but you will go through a lot of metal doing it.
