Locust epidemic in the near future

Locusts are the Solution, not the Problem

Locusts are a rich source of nutrients. A better solution is to capture the locusts and process them into livestock feed. (Or if social restrictions can be altered, as a food for human consumption).

To proceed further, an engineering solution for capturing large amounts of aerial insects would have to be investigated. I'd suspect a large net constructed from a synthetic material would do the trick.

Yes locust is in deed a delicacy especially during it nymph stage. I ever tested stir fried grasshopper with just salt added. It just test quite like fry prawn or shrimp.
