Manure has always been a good fertilizer. The companies could either start an additional company processing and selling fertilizer or a separate company could make an agreement to remove the fertilizer and turn around process the manure and sell it as fertilizer possible making profit on both ends for removing and then selling. Either way with a few changes and processes this could become a huge profit for some entre-manure (entrepreneur). If the companies grow their own feed they are stupid for not spreading the manure on their fields in the off season. The small farmers have been doing this for years on a smaller scale, just because it is an old practice does not make it a bad one.
