Give up Coffee!

I am labeling this an "innovative solution" because although giving up coffee is an obvious solution for insomnia, many people do not consider it. Sometimes it is easy to overlook the obvious.

With the advent of a Starbucks sometimes on every corner (especially in big cities), drinking coffee has become a habit ingrained into Western culture. The fact of the matter is coffee can remain in our bloodstreams all day long and even impact our ability to sleep at night. People with insomnia should give up coffee as a first line of defense. Its hard to quit, but not impossible.
