Psychosomatic disorders are often caused by traumatic experiences from the past. These traumas are unresolved, so they have a resulting impact on the person's day to day well-being. Subconsciously the person doesn't feel ok, so these emotional issues can manifest in strange ways. If you have experienced trauma, try to incorporate relaxing routines into your day to day schedule. Good activities might include meditation classes, getting a regular massage, and regular practice of yoga.
