Hazing in colleges across the US

Ban alcohol in fraternities and sororities

Fraternities and sororities are the most guilty offenders of hazing. If one of these organizations is reported to be committing harmful hazing activities, the university should ban their ability to drink alcohol on campus and in their frat house.

Much of the frat activity revolves around alcohol consumption. By cutting down on the drinking, the frat would be reprimanded in a very undesirable way. As a result, they would have no choice but cut back on dangerous hazing activities.

Hazing is not just a greek problem. And while alcohol does play a part in it sometimes, it doesn't always. Eliminating alcohol for greeks (or even the greek system as a whole) will not stop hazing in ..
